COVID-19 Coping: a Barometer on Saskatchewan Mental Health

[April 9, 2020] At Insightrix, we are curious to know how Saskatchewan residents are holding up with the ongoing developments around COVID-19.

We wanted to share a heartwarming video provided by Sherri, a SaskWatch community member. Ruth (in the video) celebrated her 90th birthday in style and we couldn't help but smile.

Week Three Results

We surveyed 400 Saskatchewan residents on our consumer panel, SaskWatch Research. We plan to do this survey every week for the next few months.

In terms of self-reported mental health, Saskatchewan people have maintained relatively low happiness levels this week, with just over one half placing themselves above “neutral”: 

However, fewer Saskatchewan people report being stressed this week compared to previous weeks, and far fewer people believe the situation will continue to get worse.

Moreover, Saskatchewan residents have continued to share a range of positive experiences and stories as they are adjusting to their current circumstances.
