| View in browser Insightrix COVID-19 Barometer (Issue 65)   \[September 17, 2021\] Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been tracking how Saskatchewan residents have been holding up. Here's how people say they are feeling for the week of September 13, 2021.   \* Note that this week’s data were collected prior to provincial government announcements on Thursday related to mandatory masking and proof of vaccination.   If you have display issues, please click the link in the top-right corner of your screen to view a web version of this barometer.  Self-reported mental health softens. Similarly, stress related to COVID-19 rises to levels last seen in the middle of the third wave. Outlook for the weeks ahead declines to the lowest point ever. At present, two out of every three Saskatchewan residents believe things will get worse. Concern about rising cases has increased sharply since our last issue. Thursday’s provincial government announcements highly align with Saskatchewan resident preferences.   Specifically, our poll shows eight in ten support mandatory masks in indoor spaces, a similar proportion support vaccine passports, seven in ten support the notion of preventing unvaccinated people from attending events and six in ten support preventing unvaccinated people from going to restaurants, shopping malls, etc. \* Note these latter two items excluded the option of having unvaccinated people provide a recent negative test result to attend events or visit restaurants. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we started sharing a few brief insights from our online community, SaskWatch Research®.  As we monitor and trend the results by week, we will share the information with you as we get it.   Let us know if you have any questions for Saskatchewan residents about COVID-19.
