Self-reported mental health improves for the third week in a row, and stress levels drop below 70% for the first time in more than six weeks.
Optimism for the future returns! Residents haven’t been this positive since early March, and prior to that, last June. Optimism correlates with age / those who have been vaccinated.
Over one half of adults report having received a COVID-19 vaccine this week, up ten points from last week. The proportion of those with no intention of getting a vaccine drops this week.
Almost one half of vaccinated residents say they feel less stressed, yet only four in ten say they think their chances of getting COVID-19 is less now that they have been vaccinated—one third report they feel safer.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we started sharing a few brief insights from our online community, SaskWatch Research®. As we monitor and trend the results by week, we will share the information with you as we get it.
