[September 17, 2021] Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been tracking how Saskatchewan residents have been holding up. Here's how people say they are feeling for the week of September 13, 2021.

Self-reported mental health softens. Similarly, stress related to COVID-19 rises to levels last seen in the middle of the third wave.

Outlook for the weeks ahead declines to the lowest point ever. At present, two out of every three Saskatchewan residents believe things will get worse.

Concern about rising cases has increased sharply since our last issue.

Thursday’s provincial government announcements highly align with Saskatchewan resident preferences.

Specifically, our poll shows eight in ten support mandatory masks in indoor spaces, a similar proportion support vaccine passports, seven in ten support the notion of preventing unvaccinated people from attending events and six in ten support preventing unvaccinated people from going to restaurants, shopping malls, etc.

* Note these latter two items excluded the option of having unvaccinated people provide a recent negative test result to attend events or visit restaurants.
